Woodstock

So, this post needs a little back story explanation. The museum opened an exhibit about Peanuts. Not the kind you eat, but those funny little characters created by Charles Schulz. Someone had the bright idea (can't say it was even my idea) to have a panel discussion about what type of bird Woodstock really was with our Ornithology peeps. Peeps, get it? Ha ha.

Anyways, our senior curator in Ornithology provided a lighthearted discussion of this topic, with some ribbing to me for making him doing it. Since then we have had some running jokes about Woodstock going on. This morning I got the following photo with this:
"Attached are some recently prepared specimens of birds for our collections...The yellow one is enigmatic; so far neither Dr. [so and so] nor I can identify it. Given your considerable ornithological skills, do you have any suggestions?"

HA HA HA HA HA
